Forward SMS to ntfy.

Get your text messages as push notifications on a different phone or a computer. ntfy is free and you can host it yourself.

How to set it up

  1. Select a topic name that is hard to guess. Your topic URL is https://ntfy.sh/<topic>, or the URL of your own server.
  2. Subscribe to the topic in the ntfy app or in a browser.
  3. In SMS Webhook, open Targets, tap Add target, select ntfy and paste the topic URL.
  4. Tap Send test message. The notification shows on your devices.

What ntfy gets

A push notification with the title Message from <sender> and the message text.

Send only the messages that you need

Rules select the messages. Example: when the sender contains HDFC and the text has an OTP, send it to ntfy. A drop rule can stop promotions first. See the webhook guide for the template variables.
